Each document also has a history. That is, when you give a document a new version via the Major or Minor Revision, that old document is plugged into the history. So it's not gone. And then the question is yes, where did that document go? Well, for example, here is a document in version 2.0. I'll click on that document on the black arrow and here in the menu that comes up, you'll see Archive. If you click on that, you'll see the archive. You'll see a version 2.0, which is now the active version, and a version 1.0. Again, you can choose to open that version via Open Version. There's also File History of each version each time.
