I am back in the Edit & Send for Review Step, but I know that I will have to edit my document a few more times before I will be able to forward it. For example, I still have a few days of work to do on it and I don't want to send it on at this point. Then you don't use the lightning bolt, you work with the arrow. You click on Check out file, so you will download the document to your computer and then you can edit it. Once you've done all the modifications, you can check it back in. You have three types to check in. Check in File: the file has been modified and you check it back in. Put in File without Check in: you put the file back in with the changes, but you don't check it in yet. This means that no one else can make changes to it. If you do Check in, someone else can start making changes. So someone who has access to that can start making changes to that. You can't do that with checkout, but my latest version is online, so if I accidentally delete it from my computer, I haven't lost it. And Undo Check out is the button for when you've done checkout, but you actually had to download it. Now no one can edit that document and that's wrong. Now what? Well, Undo checkout and then the last version known in BizzMine is checked back in. I start with Undo Checkout and it's very simple. You get the message whether you know the original will be shown back and you click OK. So, and then it's back in. Now suppose you do Check out again and you've modified that document, but you don't want people to be able to get into it yet, then you do Put in the file, you retrieve your document and you put it in and... Text added for example and you click Save. So. OK. And then everything stays the same, so it stays on Checkout. I put the document in with the latest version, so I didn't lose it. Once all the changes are done, you can choose to check the document back in, it may now go in permanently and... Finally ready for example. So OK And you click on Save. The document is back in. And what do you see? You can check out again and so on, but you are still in the same step. Once the document is completely ready, then you can send it on, but know that you can also edit your document in this step with check-out and check-in.
