Search, powersearch, and filters let you narrow a long list of records down to just the ones you need. Filters can use a fixed value or a dynamic date range — a date option that is always evaluated against today's date, so a filter like "Today" or "This month" keeps showing the correct period without ever needing to be re-entered.

4 HOW IT WORKS
Search
The search bar lets you quickly look up records by matching the text you type against key fields in a list. Matching records appear as you type.
Powersearch
Powersearch is the advanced search option. It lets you search across additional fields and combine multiple search terms, giving you more precise results than the standard search bar.
Filtering a list
| 1 | Open the filter panel from the list or widget toolbar. |
| 2 | Choose the field you want to filter on. |
| 3 | Choose a condition and enter a value — or, for a date field, choose a dynamic date range instead of a fixed date. |
| 4 | Apply the filter. The list updates to show only matching records. |
| 5 | Add more filters if needed, or edit and remove a filter at any time. |
Dynamic date ranges
Instead of filtering a date field to a fixed date, you can choose a dynamic date range. A dynamic range is evaluated against today's date every time the list loads, so a filter you set once keeps working correctly — every day, week, month, quarter, or year — without ever being edited.

For example, combining "This" with "Month" gives you "This month" — a filter that always shows the current month. "Custom" lets you define your own range instead of using a preset direction and period.
